Two years ago Eagle talked me into buying a table saw off of Craig's List. Until recently, it served admirably as another countertop surface. I finally broke down and decided that it wouldn't beat me. Here's the result, with all of the guidance from above. Thanks, Eagle. Now can I turn it back into a countertop? That awesome Lou!! Don't you dare turn that tablesaw back into a counter top. Keep on cutting! You might also want to keep an eye on Craig's list for a scroll saw

Lou, that is some nice segmenting! I need to get off my, well you know, and do some turning. With Jessica's situation and moving Sean to his own place, I have just been too tired to turn.

I know what Eagle would say about the pink. I fully remember his comments on the wave blank we ordered in pink. I would have most likely put it on a Gent so that the black titanium adornments of the Statesman did not distract from your hard work. Also Some bright blue would really make the pink pop. All in all, I am proud of your first one and think you should continue to experiment when you have the time and will. Who knows you might even make a segmented pencil one day! Mike

Guess I'll have to start using mine for something else beside cutting blanks to size.

I think the pen looks great Lou. I love all the segments and I really think Eagle would too. He would definately not mind the pink

OK Lou, I am at a computer that will actually OPEN the image. So, I did.
Technically, the pen is a masterpiece from what I can see!!!
"Femmie" is not the word I would use. However, I am not a fan of PICTURES of Giese's work, either. So, let's chalk this up to "Ed isn't wild about the PICTURE!!" Probably would LOVE The pen (maybe).
It IS very well done, technically.
Congrats!!!

Let Me say that all the entries that I have looked at are more then AMAZING!!!! There is quite a uniquiness to everyones designs and use of color. It is going to be hard choosing a winner with everyones entries looking so marvelous and stunning. I have seen quite a few of the entries but not all of them , but I am looking forward to seeing everyones before the end of the contest. I would like to thank everyone once again . To see Eagle's inspirations come to life through all of your own work and ideas truely leaves me speechless. Thanks again and keep all the ideas comming . And Lou I think the colors are enough to consider it a "femmie" enough. LOL! Dale
