Don't laugh too loud, these are just practice cuts for what I may include in my final Eagle INSPIRED pen. I don't want to try and copy one.
First looks kinda like a Sputnik and is just screaming to be attacked by a blunt skew Grin
Next is the same blank with a few curved parallel cuts. Any guesses on the red stuff?
Next with two blanks are DCATWTS's. Trust me, I'm sure Eagle used that phrase several times. Guesses anyone. The green/gold one is a standard 4 ring Celtic cross, the red one is the same but with round cuts.
Finally ( for now ) is the first 6 cuts ( more to come ) using some pretty thin stuff. Each insert has a layer of clear-brass-clear-ali-clear in each slot. I like this as the clear layer adds a neat effect on the end of the feathers.

I figured that if I made several, then Bruce would have a hard time doing his damned VooDoo jinx on them all!!!

I think one of my former girlfriends kept something like that blue rocket in the drawer of her night table.  Shocked  A couple of these have me shaking my head quizzically.  Of course, anything other than a pretty wood pen does that sometimes.

Those are so cool, I think I will remove the curse.  May the best person win.  Love the rocket.
