Kintaro Yazawa is a Japanese furniture-maker known for his incredible joinery. This is his Small Safe with Finger Joint. Very nicely done.

Apparently the fingers are the combination to the box. I believe the knobs pull out with a series of clicks; each knob should be pulled the number of clicks that the fingers show, then the box can be opened.

Some of these joints are impossible objects, are they not?  At least I don't see how his "Trick Joint Box" was assembled Huh? Huh? Huh?

Great stuff!, maybe that trick joint is made something like the photo below.  Grin Everything is impossible, until you find a way to do it  Grin
