Guys, you are killing me here.  Quit making such cool puzzleboxes.  You are making me work too hard just to keep up.  Most of you have already reached a level of quality and sophistication that took me years to achieve, and you are just now getting your feet wet.  I hear that there is a need for quality crossword puzzle artists out there.  Does that sound tempting  Grin

Ron, you have already made your mark on the puzzleworld.  Have you considered taking up knitting?   Grin  Matt, I have my eye on you and your cutting edge design concepts.  Brain and Peter, what the feaking freak.  Seriouly, what the freaking freak.  Don't you know that I do this to support my family.  How bold.  Don't you feel guilty about coming up with boxes that are better than my own.  How about taking up gormet cooking as a hobby?  Perhaps sky diving.   Grin

Seriously guys, I really have not seen this level of talent in the area of "puzzleboxes" since I started crafting them a decade ago.  You are the next generation of puzzlebox artists and I guess I can take some comfort in knowing that the craft is not going to die with me (which may be happening shortly - because, once again, you guys are killing me).   Wink

The phrase was originally coined after my first hour of attempting to open the MacDaw # 1.   Grin

Most important for new puzzle artists is to always put thier hallmark on thier pieces.  For example, those of you fortunate enough to have received a Stephen Chin egg, look really close at the bottom.  There is a stamp there that says, "Made in Chin".

Oh wait, there is actually more.  There is also the letter "a" there on the end, but I can see where somebody tried to scrape it off.  Hey, I call shananigans!!!   Bad form Chinney!  Bad form.

I've heard a rumor that all the Stickman boxes contain a secret message engraved in the inner compartment. The code is microscopic Morse code.

The message?

"What the Freakin' Freak?"

See Jeff, you are doing the right thing.  I hear tale of your puzzlebox talent from Matt, but you are not flooding the market with quality puzzleboxes as of yet.  Now I can just keep you distracted with making treasure hunts, then my legacy is secure.

Robert,

Somehow I'm confident that your legacy is secure. I'm still working on relocating my shop. Then I'll see if I can make something besides sawdust and firewood.

Jeff

PS: Chinny, you should probably send me a La Boomba just to be safe.  Grin

My copy says made in Sydney, Japan...

But you know the true Puzzle artist shouldn't have to sign his piece, it should be easily recognizable from it's craftmanship...I know I'm full of it  Grin

I'm still waiting for Chinney to notice that upper post and reply to it.  He must be busy with playing with his "made in China" stamp.

Heh, you guys are a riot Smiley Thanks for the kind words, Roby! I can't wait to see how your latest creation turns out, it sounds like it will be fantastic. I shall save my pennies and warm up my clickin' finger since I'm sure it will sell out in a flash!
