Hey Chinny,
I came home from a buisness trip today and found my egg open on my desk. without the pins. It seems that someone named I Don't Know was playing with it and dropped them. No big deal but since I don't know won't tell me where they were at the time I can't find even one of them to know how long to make the replacement. Sooo.. How long do you make the pins? needless to say it's not to dificult to open in it's present condition.
Thanks,
Phil

1/8" Thick and 5/16"th long with slightly rounded tips will do.  Could be cut from a coat hanger.

Well said, Official Chinny spokesman

I use nails, 3.2 mm diameter, height is just short of level as you place it in the hole. Round the ends off till its smooth. Keith suggest Bullet head nails, so the pins don't fall off, Now it becomes someone elses design, so I had to put a cross pin in too

Trial and error, till  it works, sometimes shorter ones works better, then make a few spares

It's the weekend, been out on the boat with the family, Of course there has been torrential rains this afternoon which cut the trip a bit short.
I bet some of the boys are out in the shop getting ready for next year.
