Been working on this blank for a while and due to the numerous glue joints it has a tendency to occasionally fall apart.  I suddenly remembered my conversations with Eagle about using gauze so his blanks wouldn't fall apart.  I think my trips to the drug store paid off.  Blank is only about 1/4 finished and may take a few months to complete the pen due to other things I am working on.  In the Eagle tradition, however, I will submit the gauzed piece as a teaser.  Hint, the part not gauzed is sacrificial but from the same batch of PR used as part of the design.  Final pen if it all holds together will be posted before years end.  Stay tuned.

It's interesting to watch the progress of the pen, just as it was interesting to watch the building of the blanks.  I can't wait until the next installment!

Almost done with the cap.  Everything held together through drilling and initial shaping.  Next comes the clip followed by the nib holding section.  Anyone recognize the pattern I am trying to suggest.

BINGO!  Once again you have it right.  One of these days, I'm going to try to replicate the innards but for now, a hint of the external design is all I'm looking for.  The clip will also hint of a Parker arrow, but will still have my influence as well.  Still plenty of hours left in this one.
