Hello to all, I thought I thought I had posted this here yesterday, but it did't go on, (finger trouble). Worthless Wood blank from Jeff and he threw in the case! The cap is a "save" after misjudging the amount I had to play with for a closed end. Hope you enjoy it. Amos

Oh that is gorgeous Amos...I had noticed Jeff's excellent castings and it's funny I just posted about trying to find out if anyone can cast puzzle pieces, Roby had mentioned something along those lines  Wink

I'm sure puzzle pieces can be cast, it would certainly add to the quality of the puzzle. Amos

That is one of the neatest pens I have seen.  Wow!!!

I think that Roby was curious about casting a backing for cutting odd shaped pieces to reduce tear out, and not necessarily casting the pieces themsleves.  But hey, if they can grow an ear on a mouse, then why not grow a wooden piece in a mold.  Roll Eyes

Thanks for the comments, you know, a good reason to post here is to be kept humble! I look at pens that Steven makes and some of the others, and I know I am looking up at them, and I am just trying to put my foot on the bottom rung of the ladder. Meanwhile--back at the lathe-a Mermaid awaits me! Amos

Amos, as long as you have your foot on the ladder, who cares what rung it is?  Wink

In my opinion, your work is 'top rung' anyway!!!  Cool
