Howdy, Y'all

Well I finally made it here. Saw the post by Monty about the feather blank, and just had to follow it here. Most of y'all from the other forum know me, or know of me, or don't want to know any more about me, or are fed-up with me, so I will keep if short and to the point. I am a native Houstonian, age 59, Wife's name is Mary. I am a Mechanical Engineer by trade, a Woodworker by choice, and a Wood turner cause I don't know any better. I haven't spent much time at the lathe this year due to two operations, and am going to the Dr.s on 8-14-08 as I may wind up having another one real quick, but his time a major one in the abdomen.

Oh well, at least I don't have a toe-tag yet!
