Just thought I'd mention to anyone that if they'd like a 'pen drilling blank vise'...I have one available.  It's not the greatest but heck it's free Grin



I also have some 'stock' bushings for various kits, just let me know I probably have them...I have a near 'complete set' of 'johnnycnc' custom made bushings so... Grin

Douglas, I doublechecked the bushings and I have a set of 'Aero' that I'll send with the vise Wink

For anyone else that needs bushings, here's what I have:

Oh yeah, they make a big difference!  For one they are dead on accurate and secondly they eliminate all the drawbacks of using a mandrel.  I also have matching 'Delrin' bushings so it's pretty slick.  If you happen to go that route, make sure you use a high quality 60 degree live center, the stock one that normally comes with the lathe is NOT suitable...John Goodin aka 'johnnycnc' will hook you up, he's a great guy!

Ive up graded my live center and no longer use a mandrel i think i will try johnnycnc for some of my higher grade kits thanks for the info
