Dave here, I have been turning wood, and pens for ever, I got board with the pens I was making and came accross some new stuff that got me turning again, I do a ton of woodworking, I have been studying magic/mentalism for over 30 years and I also like to fly, I do have a job too. I am a sales rep for a few furniture factorys in the Washington ,DC area, I have only been here a few years, most of my life I lived in NJ and worked in NYC. So that's me, what about you.

Welcome Dave,

You have come to the right place.  I don't turn pens, but most of the guys on here are pro's at it.  I have, however, made my living for the past 9 years crafting wooden puzzleboxes, and there are a few guys that also make magic items out of wood here.  There is a lot of diversity on this website, but our one thing is common is that we are all well seasoned in woodworking.  We look forward to gleaning a few techniques from you, and hopefullly seeing some picture of your work when you have time.

Hi Dave,

Like Roby mentioned we all have a common interest in woodworking, 'the tie that binds', so to speak Cheesy  Like to see some of your work... Wink

padouk smells good compared to cypress.  That wood smells like rotting garbage.
