OK Skiprat, here it is warts and all, I promise to improve and I think I know how, but will have to wait for another to try a variation of technique; Pen is a Churchill BEB. Amos

I'm no wood expert Lynn but I think BEB is either Box Elder Burl or in this case, Buck Eye Burl.

BEB is Box Elder Burl and that is a beautiful example, the shape of the closed ends are both perfect and the hidden clip ring shows you are a very talented penturner, fantastic work Amos!
