I'm actually serious about this.  I've got my late Father's Shaeffer that is more than 40 years old and it writes absolutely beautifully.  That one's got EMERALD GREEN ink in.

My normal office pen is filled with standard BLACK, but it's a more modern Shaeffer. 

John kindly sent me one last year made from some of the last Wild Olive Rootknot that came out of my Father's garage when we cleaned it after he passed away.

Since these penturners like own advertisement, you know those shameless plugs, so I'll leave it to Boet to post the picture of that pen.  I'm battling to get a pot of proper red ink for that pen.

If I have to write a cheque, I try to find rubber ink!!!

That is a beauty Amos, but I prefer a clip on a pen, heck even to stop it rolling off the table!
