I just received this email from my dear puzzle friend William Strijbos of the Netherlands and thought we could help and have some fun as well Wink:

Dear Friends and other persons 12.03.09.

Till now I have 17 different letters of the Alphabet collection. Nine more to go.

I’m looking forward to get some Alphabet letter from your country. Please help me

to make a complete Alphabet. As you know my birthday is on 10 of March and this

is the 69 day of the year. That is why I do collect these 69 City’s.

Best Regards,

William.

Hi Boet

I presume the idea is to send a name and attach a photo of the relevant signboard as well?

Yeah, as long as the sign has a city with the number 69 with it...not as easy as it would seem Undecided  Please don't stop in the middle of a 4 lane highway to get a pic either Shocked Wink

The sign also has to have the number 69 on it, as it 69 miles or KM to the city in question.  Thought I might try to take a pick because he is missing my home town of Edmond and that would fill letter "E", but did not feel like driving 69 miles out of the city for a picture.  Patience is a virtue William, I will get around to it.

Well to drive to Quebec City it would only take about 12 hours of driving Roll Eyes  I could probably drive to New York City in less time Shocked

Very good, I did not want to drive 69 miles outside of the city to take a picture.   John, can you really drive to New York?  I did not know we let people like you into our country.  Shocked

Well I could fly to New York, but I find it makes my arms sore! Tongue

Now as far as letting people like me into your country...they likely wouldn't, I think we need a passport now Undecided Wink

Do you think that perhaps every one is a bit suspicious of the purpose.   After all, it is a famous Karma Sutra position.
