Hope this is the place to post this, as I went to the other sections and was PUZZLED out!
I will post the pictures in chronological order, how I made the Do Hickey for the Statesman cap. I may have to use  a couple of replies to fit all the pictures in.
Driiled the brass bit that hold the original cap out, then mount in a vice with a piece of leather to protect it, tap out the old cap. Mount the Do Hickey on a dowel and turn it down and cut it off, sand the base flat. and CA to the cap; hope it is of some help. Amos

Now,incorporating lotsa do Hickeys  into the puzzles, hmmmm
