Hello everyone, Im new hew from Arkansas and just getting into turning pens.  I work in the gas feilds and dont have alot of time to do much.  Still trying to get everything together to get started, have lathe and scroll saw and small table saw , band saw but still needing a few things to get started but as weather gets warmer will work on getting the small thins like a SHOP to put all the equipment in...good to meet everyonr here.

Arkansas.  A wonderful state.  Would love to retire there.  It is so beautiful and any rock you can imagine can be pulled from the ground.  Do you need special carving bits to lathe rock?

still needing a few things to get started but as weather gets warmer will work on getting the small thins like a SHOP to put all the equipment in...

In a pinch, the lathe can go where the kitchen table used to be, and
the table saw can replace the bed, as long as you have a nice long extension
and a good fence. (you need to put the pillow on something..)

(and I wonder why I'm still single..)

Darn tooting!!  If I were not married, I would be living in a warehouse.  My equipment never complains that I don't buy it flowers.
