Lou, Evil Evil Grin

Dear Sir
As you are aware, this forum is now truly INTERNATIONAL.

With this in mind, it is my duty to remind you that in some parts of our wonderful planet your 'tonight' is actually already tomorrow and therefore is 'morning'!!!!!!
However, in less sunny climes it is still hanging onto 'tonight' by a very thin thread.........2.5hrs to be exact!!!!

It would be very remiss of you not to divulge your little surprise post haste!!!!!

So spit it out!!!!!!

please Grin

Here it is!

When Eagle passed away suddenly on July 4th of last year, he had 11 pens in his travel case.  I had a small eagle engraved on the back of each and had them sequentially numbered.  With the blessing of Lynn Prisavage, Eagle's widow, I offer this pen, number 2 in the series.  It is a lovely example of another step in the evolution of his "Sexy Pen" design.

Tell EVERYONE you know!  There aren't many genuine "Eagle" pens that will ever find their way into private collections.

It is simply blowing my mind to see the amazing generousity of so many people that perhaps never knew or even shared a word with Eagle.
I was one of the lucky ones and met him briefly and as tough as he was, I would bet that he would be very close to tears by the kindness some of his admirers are showing to his family. I think he would also be having a wry smile at the fairweatherers that are notably by their absence Wink

I would like to purchase 5 tickets and also to donate a dyed boxelder burl emperor fountain pen to the collection of wonderful, generous things donated. Eagle and I had numerous conversations and he was making me a penblank. I enjoyed his banter and his advice on just about everything, including helping me with my shop I am building. I never got to meet him in person, but I felt that we were friends just the same. I regret not getting the penblank, as I know he had just about finished it because he sent me pictures of it. It would have meant the world to me to have that for a keepsake of Eagle. I have tried and tried to post a picture of the pen I am donating, but for some reason or another I can't get it to attach in my preview.

Ok, so the picture showed up afterall. Just wouldn't show up in the preview. So that is the fountain pen I am donating to the raffle.
