Okay here's a drawing Johan sent me, it looks like a very promising idea for a puzzle box (Turned on the lathe Roby!!)

What do you think?...........please add to the design and maybe Ou Toppie can further refine the design as things are added Wink

Maybe add a few dead ends just to add to the frustration level. >Cheesy

How would you manufacture it?

John,  Did Johan give you the other details about it.  This design is almost exactly what I was wanting us to make together, but instead we went the domino direction.  Remeber, you were going to make lathe the inside piece, and I was going to do the outside.  WE can still do it, but reluctantly I must admit that part of it would require a lathe.

Yeah, good idea Mark....I was thinking maybe the outside would have some sort of pattern to also throw off the solver...I think it's quite possible on the lathe...

I've only seen that drawing....we should make this happen...maybe Steve or Keith is up for a challenge?  They're far more adept on the lathe so a good opportunity for them to jump into puzzlemaking but still be in their comfort zone, what you say guys? Wink

I'm certainly game for it John. Looks really cool. You may want to check with Keith first though, as we would probably be a better candidate for it than I.

Guess I'm not so obedient after all!  Grin Cheesy I love the word Obsequious, just, doesn't always describe who I am. Shocked

I see no reason why this design couldn't have multiple mazes around the blank, with maybe the ends keeping it together....
