Okay everyone, feel free to post your jigs that you use to make puzzles or for the pen inlay masters you're lamintating jigs Wink

I won't embarass myself by posting mine initially, but probably will jump in after some of the better ones are posted Grin

I just changed the function of posting pics directly, so you can now put pics in your post without a link Wink

That's 'Roby's Kumiki Elephant, by the way....I think they should be released again, what do you say? Grin

This is the jig I use on my table saw to cut veneers and thin strips to width.  Because the cut is supported on the bottom with  zero clearance and on the top by the sacrificial block, I get clean cuts with no tear out.

Nice setup Keith.  Mine is embarrasing in comparison.

John, did you ever fix the other ear on that elephant.  Indeed, it should be remade.  It was an awesome puzzle.  I think 8 moves and it all falls into puzzle pieces in your hand.  A real butt to put back together again.  I won't get to it for a while, but feel free to get started on it yourself.  Remeber that culture states that all elephants must be facing east when put on a shelf.

Oh yeah, after you sent me the purple elephant, I was pretty sure I was right out of purpleheart....but no, mysteriously I found a piece big enough to make another ear...so of course, this one has a story to go along with it, very cool Wink  Nobody can replicate your work dude....nobody!  Even Chinny in all his madness will agree, just best to leave your designs alone, it's a karma thing Cool
