Roby, she's only pretending to be angry.  Check the last smiley on the previous post.  A kiss.  So this is all contrived to try and make us feel bad!!

Boet, she's got to live with you.  That one is for you!!

Well, according to Roby, he's still not sure if we're not both the same person, with an alter ego?  Who knows for sure, it could be a big hoax, similar to the 'Stickman Sphere puzzle box' not done on a lathe.... Huh?

Well - I'm a little late coming to this post, but the Unhappy Childhood puzzles I made seemed to work out just fine with gluing Holly and Ebony with Titebond II glue...  I didn't have any problems with the UC puzzle at all, but I did have some trouble with glue joints on the Domino Cubes.  What size cubes were you using for the Unhappy Childhood, Pinhead?

For the Domino Cubes, I was gluing African Blackwood to Bloodwood - two very dense woods.  I used Titebond II, and then if they survived the first disassembly, I dripped the thin CA glue on the joints, and I used Robert's XXX incisions (boy, that looks bad in print!).  Eventually, I got the Domino Cubes to work, but that was a learning experience.  The main trouble I had was end grain to side grain joints for 3/4" x 3/8" glue joints - pretty small area and not the best in terms of grain orientation.

Hope that helps...

Thanks John - I thought it was Barb and I had a really hard time typing out "Pinhead" too - but I didn't want to be wrong and then have the laugh on me!  I have never wanted to get in the middle of a battle with Barb - better to watch the fireworks from the other side of the lake, so to speak...

I was snuck up on.  I was ambushed.  It came out of no where and attacked me.  Such a devious little redhead.  I calll schananagins, bad form bad form.  She knew that I would fall right into that trap, and boy did I.

STP, I used .75 cubes but sometimes I'll use .87 it all depends on the design.  I've heard that purpleheart is a cheap substitute for ebony, but you need to bake it in an oven to darken it.  Oh, by the way,  HOLLYWOOD is the best!! >Cheesy

Roby

The previous post is positive proof the Canuck and Pinhead is the same.  I am sure that the Redhead Fury does not make puzzles!

The Jeckyl and Hyde syndrome, wonder where it came from?
