Oh no! Not that two layer puzzle again, not me!
You don't have to have the loose pc, it was only there for the 2 tiered puzzle so you could work out both solutions.
The ultimate Crazy Canuck Ball would be a Venus turned into a ball. It is Stewart Coffin's 30 sided polyhedron puzzle for those that don't know. It's pretty close to ball shaped already... Plus it has a locking piece that is supposed to keep the thing together.
Either which way John, I can help you out.

Okay, now one more question, which pieces do I need?
Okay, two questions, why did Stewart refer to this as an easy puzzle to make?

Waiting for 007, I try to reply:
I do not know if I have understood the question (probably you are referring to a different combination):
S Coffin in Puzzle Craft II described these 6 pieces. Is it this version you meant John?

That is the one I used too. They go together in 2 halves (obviously) ABC and DEF. There is another solution that uses 5 of those 6 plus 1 more of the others shown.

Thanks Mark, now just so I'm straight about this, there is only one solution for the diagram that Rolly posted right? Chinny's got me thinking that maybe there's a second solution....

Hi all
that remembers me on my first visit in London; I arrived at Heathrow airport and had no knowledege about the subway lines to town and asked a train officer: "sorry please can you tell me which line goes to the town" he answered: If you would find a second one please tell it to me"
happy puzzling and finding solutions
